Vampire Rapture

Character description
In times long past, Rapture was once a man of nobility. Now, he's but a shadow of his former esteem. Standing at 6'2, dark brown straight hair down to his neck, and crimson eyes which contain the faintest trace of gold just under the pupils, hinting at his glorious past. Crimson trenchcoat wrapped over dark yet ornate silken embroidery, and obsidian leggings.
Through the centuries, the creature presently known as Rapture was once known as Count Inillian. Through a fated encounter with an elder vampire he recalls as Lord Fel, he ascended into undeath. At first, the man was reluctant to embrace his malevolent ways, but he soon delved into the arts of savagery with ease. The soon to be called Dread Knight Inillian, plagued the ancient world as head of The Masked. Ancient France, Greece, and Rome were affected heaviest, but historical events can trace the shaded organization to segments of Asia, and the Middle East.
Inillian soon found rest upon systematically tracking down, and corrupting a crusader known as Mateus. The search took a decade, a mere blink in the eyes of a vampire, but the conflict to come had roots passed down deep into present day vampirism.
Leading an armada of five hundred vampires into ancient Paris, Inillian was much too confident in his children of carnage. Mostly inexperienced, they fell easily to the illusive Mateus and his men. But eventually, pressured by his men to make a final stand, Mateus was lured into pitched battle. The pressing engagement cost Inillian three days, and the deaths of all but his two lieutenants. He refused adamantly to leave Mateus to shed more blood of his men, and on the eve of celebrated victory of his foes, lead his triumvirate into the opposing camp. They systematically slaughtered the whole of Mateus' force, and in the end, Mateus was slain, but not lost.
There they left him, completley drained save for a few drops, and with a burning lust for the pain of his adversaries...
Inillian took the name of Rapture soon after descending into the long slumber to follow. He felt the ancient names of the past were becomming obselete in those times, and his hunch was correct. Upon waking from his most reecent slumber, Rapture found himself weak, decrepid. It was then he took in the scent of spite, of wreckless hate incarnate. Lycans had awaken as well, a breed of creatures believed to of been cleansed from this realm almost a millenia ago.
With a sudden reluctance, Rapture began calling to rise his most ancient bretherin to combat this foe, and can currently be found in the European countryside, remembering his old ways, and revelling in abilities he hasn't had a need for in many moons.
