Character description
The offspring of a tryst between a noble and a common serving wench, Musette was raised as the unwanted sibling of thirteen other children, who all resented her as she was not one of them. Due to this, she spent most of her time alone in her fantasies, of which the most recurrent was that of a dark stranger that beckoned to her on windy. moonless nights.
It was only much later that she realized that her 'stranger' was actually a prince of the Ventrue, thought long dead for the crime of uncovering secrets related to Gehenna.
With the last of his vitae, the prince transferred his essence to Musette, passing on his knowledge before he expired. Awakened in the process, her first act was to slaughter her human family, tearing them to shreds and feasting on their blood. This same act, however, alerted other Kindred to her presence. Officially a renegade, as she has not been recognized before the clan, she is now hunted by Ventrue and Assamites alike. As she struggles to find safe haven, she finds her mind slowly being corrupted by the knowledge she possesses in the back of her mind...

Musette is exhausted. It has been weeks since she's had any proper rest, or nourishment. The Ventrue had made it clear that she will never be accepted among their noble ranks, and the Assamites have proven to be relentless hunters of her kind. She has nowhere to run, and not even in her mind can she find momentary solitude.
After thirty days of being pursued, the wounds inflicted by the Assamites' crossbows have at least started to close. She might survive until the next full moon afterall. Musette knew the weight of the knowledge she possesses, and she also knew who would be interested in it the most. She will meet with the undead leper, she thought, and then, if everything turns out to be in her favor, she might be freed of her curse at long last.

"Freedom," she thought. Musette had met the leper several days earlier and had revealed everything she knew of the forbidden knowledge in her; and as a reward, the leper had promised her freedom.
Musette shifted her eyes upward, towards the setting moon. "Freedom," she whispered.
She did not flinch, nor did she cry out when the morning touched her skin. Instead she laughed. She laughed at her burning, laughed and llaughed until her voice faded away and turned into ash.
