I was once a young woman living alone in a rundown shack... I was starving. One night, the moon as full as could be high in the sky, there was a knock on my door. A beautiful woman stood there. She said to me that her name was Delilahscurse and that she had been traveling and lost her way and wondered if she could stay in my home for the night. Being the kind person that I was, I allowed it. I figured I had nothing for her to steal, nothing for her to eat. I had nothing but shelter from the world outside. She came in. She took her cloak off, and placed it on the back of one of my chairs. There was something odd about her. But I couldn't place my finger on it. I tried to stir up conversation with this rather quiet woman. I had asked her where she came from and where she was going. She snapped at me "that is none of your business!!" I apologized. I felt a cold chill run up my spine. So I threw another log on the fire and grabbed a throw and put it around my shoulders.
In a low voice the woman asked me "Have you anything to eat? Some sort of meat perhaps?" I told her that I unfortunately have fallen upon hard times and had nothing but bread and tea. For an instance I could have sworn she growled. But I laughed inside thinking that waa a foolish thought. I offered the woman a seat next to the fire. She nodded and sat down. She glanced at me. Her eyes flickered yellow/red. I shivered. I told myself it was just a reflection from the fire, it had to be. I decided it would be better not to try and converse since it seemed to bother her before. I sat there in my rocking chair, rocking back and forth back and forth. Eventually I nodded off.
A while later I awoke to what felt like the sniffing of a dog on my neck and ears. I looked out of the corner of my eye to see two BIG yellow eyes staring at my bare flesh. It was a matter of seconds before I saw the mouth of this beast open wide, drool dripping off large teeth. Next thing I knew, I awoke. I thought it was a bad dream. Until I felt something dripping down the side of my arm, and my neck was aching. I looked over to see the woman sitting there, licking her fingers, a spot of blood on her mouth.
It was then I realized my fate. My taste for flesh and blood was strong. I knew what my life had now become. I would never let myself go hungry. Now I sit in the darkness of the night hunting my prey, howling at the moon, and waiting for that next tasty meal.
