Character description
Excomunicated from the church for practising black arts, Solan was marked as "persona nongrata". The night after his dismiss a werewolf led by a fanatic priest tried to assassinate him. Solan was fighting furiously. He killed the werewolf and his malicious master but suffered heavy wounds and lost his consciousness. After he came around he realized that someone is standing upon him. He tried to attack the new opponent but his weak blow was easily blocked. Solan looked at his new enemy and saw a pale man in black dress with a mark of Cain on his forhead, he discovered that the stranger is one of the "elder" race.
„Don't be afraid my son,“ said the vampire. „I have granted you a gift.“
„A gift?“ Asked Solan curiously.
„You were badly wounded, don’t you?“ „How is your wounds now?“ Asked the elder one with a smile on his lips. Solan only now realized that he feels no pain. He looked down on his chest and there were no wounds nor any scratch.
„So this is your gift?“ „You healed me ! Then... I must thank you.“
„ Oh, my son this is just a part of my gift.“ „I took your death in exchange for eternal life, you are now an elder one.“ Said the vampire with a sign of pride in his voice.
„Why you did that, why you chose me?“ Asked Solan.
„I was on a hunt,“ vampire begins to speak. „Then suddenly I’ve starded to feel a strong source of emotions filled with anger, hate and wish for revenge,that source was you!“ „I can feel that you can be the saviour of our race.“ „But now it’s time for revenge!“ „It’s our duty to cleanse the world from werewolves and faith!“
„Wait, my master what is thy name?“
„I’m not your master, I’m TomCatus.“ „And as a newborn one you have to choose your name too.“
„Then let those who have fear in their hearts, know its name.“
„I wil be the Crossgrinder!!!“
„Now, come my child , I will take you for a hunt.“ „You will proudly bear the mark of Cain.“
