Character description
Long have I walked the earth, stalked the shadows and hunted my prey in solitude. Long have I walked the darkest of paths. Once I was a man of honour, and a paladin of great reknown. I battled the forces of darkness with great furiousity. Little did I know of the terrible fate that awaited me. That I myself would become a hellspawn in all of its infernal glory.
When the curse befell me, I prayed to my god for a cure. I begged for salvation for days, yet none was granted to me. I slowly realized I was to be damned for eternity. Which crime I had comitted since I was to be punished so severely, I do not know. For all my prayers and deeds my god never answered me. I had been forsaken, and my devotion crumbled, as my love for my god changed to anger and resentment. Always had I walked the path my god dictated, and now I was just cast out and doomed to hide in the darkness for eternity.
As time passed my hatred grew, and the darkness I dwelled in spread to my mind. I cut myself free of the chains of conscience and reveled in the fear of others, prowling the night like the hellspawn I am made to be. I am the black knight, the fallen paladin. I am forever. I used to serve mankind and my god. Now I serve only myself. Revenge is my motivation. My will is unshakeable.
