Melanie ran away from home when she was 14. Tired of her parents yelling at her about her multiple piercings and "weird" clothes. on the street she meet one of the only friends she will ever have, Tabitha Black. Her white hair and violet eyes were something that Melanie had never seen before on a human being. however, her oddness is what made her more interesting to the trusting Melanie. Then, out of nowhere, Tabitha asked Melanie the question that would change her life, "have you ever thought of being a vampire?" Melanie laughed off the seemingly random question as another one of Tabitha's oddities. "they don't exist", She replied and by the end of that night, she was not only a believer, but a creature of the night.
