Jennine and Abeo grew up together into the women you find them as today. They once lived in a village where life was simple and appeared to them as complete. This all ended the evening a gang of Vampire thugs came and paraded through their village feeding on every young child and able man, leaving the younger women to become victims of slavery and abuse. Jennine had disappeared and Abeo was left in dispair dragged all over Europa on some kind of wicked carnival trip.
On the evening of the one year anniversary of her family's massacre, including her husband and two small children, Abeo stood at the very ledge of a cliff. The ice was penetrating the insides of her toes but she was no longer shaking for she only would welcome death.
Then in the pale moonlight appeared a youthful young woman, an apparation of her best friend, Jennine. And it spoke in an agonzing tone,"Please, Abeo. Don't!"
It occured to Abeo then, this wasn't her imagination, but instead reality. Tears welt in her eyes.
"I've found a way to avenge our families, together." Jennine spoke as she walked closer to her snow covered friend.
"A few weeks ago, something came to me through my dreams in my sleep. It would help us greatly to take revenge on your so called owners but there is a price." Jennine stopped her steps and transformed herself underneathe the moonlight.
"How?" Abeo shook in disbelief.
"Together we could avenge all we loved, but be damned in this life for all eternity until death by the hand of another..."
Abeo understood and accepted those terms. She shut her eyes and allowed her dear friend to take blood from her shoulder.
And thus, I was born.
