Darkness. It's all I've ever seen, all I will ever see. I've loved and lost many in my long life. Centuries pass, and civilatazions fall. Yet here I am, standing in a barren and empty street that I called my home so long ago.
It feels strange walking along the runied path and graveled roads. MP3 players are the one godsend in this forsaken land. As I switch to the music of my preference, I walk. My obsidian, silken cloak billowing in the wind, wrapping around my wirey frame. I ajust my wireframe glasses, hiding my emerald and saphire eyes. My ripped and tattered teeshirt barely clings to my body, and my jeans are in worse shape. Ah, comfort, so long I have searched for thee. Many centuries I have searched. Many centuries I have failed, until now. I walk up the small, stone path to my childhood home. Much work is needed, but I will put up the effort. Daylight is coming, I must hurry. The last thing I want is to be caught in the sunlight. I rush in, and wait until the next night. I need my rest, for tomorrow, I work, and tomorrow, I destroy the lycans that destroyed my family.
