Character description
Jani had always been a girl fascinated with vampires and werewolves...from a safe distance, anyways. She read about them in books, but never had seen one in the flesh. She liked to read about one in particular-- an elder vampire of myth name Cyprus. While it was very possible her existance was only a myth and legend, this didn't stop Jani from heading out in search of Cy (as well as other vampires) anyways. Of course, she was a little...well, not naive...but rather unknowing about the supernatural.
This led her to a run-in with Sark, someone she had past ties to. Being turned to the vampire side didn't seem to phase her much, however, as after she recovered she demanded he return her 1.64 liters of blood to her.
She can be fairly stubborn, bossy and snarky at times, and is new to the whole 'being undead' thing. She doesn't like to backing down from a fight...even if she's clearly outclassed. Part of that is just being an impetuous youth, though. She's very verbal, whether it's talking or slinging insults. On the other hand, she has a good sense of humor and a warmth in her personality uncommon of most vampires. She doesn't hate werewolves, and doesn't see any point in fighting them, but will not hesitate to defend herself if the need arises.
She has light brown hair that spills down to her shoulders and long bangs that frame a slender, pale (and slightly freckled) face. Steel gray eyes watch the new world she's been thrust into with a great deal of interest, pale lips always curled in a wry grin. Around her neck hangs several silver chain necklaces, each with varying lengths-- some hug her pale neck like a chocker, other dangle just above her chest. Adorning the chains are little pendants with the shape of inverted crucifixes. No one is quite sure why she wears them, or if they have any significance to her whatsoever. But no matter what she wears, her small hands are typically covered by a short pair of fingerless gloves, which she doesn't take off very much, regardless of how juxtaposed and ridiculous they may look with her current outfit. She's not an exceptional beauty, but she's certainly not hideous or plain either. She's fairly short, standing only 5'4, but this doesn't seem to bother her.
On her right middle finger, she wears a silver band. She doesn't talk about where she got it from, but fidgets with it quite frequently when bored or uneasy.
