Family: My mother died of consumption when I was 3 yrs old and I do not remember much of her besides she smelled of honeysuckle and she had the greenest eyes I’d ever seen. My brother, Ruslan, was 5 yrs when my mother died, it took him over a year before he talked again. My father and brother were members of The Assembly of Russian Factory and Plant Workers in St. Petersburg and they tragically died at the Bloody Sunday Massacre after the imperial guards shot into a crowd of protesters. I was then sent to St. Mary’s Orphanage until age 18.

I was an indifferent child and nothing could be done for it. I had lost my mother to a bloody coughing fit and my father and brother to some mindless idiots with guns, but that was a long time ago and I won’t blame anyone (it‘s too late for that anyway). I must admit I hated the czar all those years I spent confined to St. Mary’s orphanage, I hated him for letting my family disintegrate (I was only a child then and did not understand the implications of politics). When the Bolshevik Party took over I was so marvelously happy, no more of the Mad Monk Rasputin and his death grip on the czarina. Politics has never been my strong suit and I still don’t care much for it so forgive me if you are shocked by my confessions. At the age of 18 I left that godforsaken place and traveled to Pavlovsk to get away from the haunting memories of my hometown. I was attacked by a werewolf on the outskirts of the Slavyanka River and I have been like this from that moment on.
