Baal was a lord of a mansion who was in love with a beautiful princess. They were in love and they spent every moment together until, one day, she set sail aboard a ship and went missing for a year. She later returned as a vampire by the name of Deathmajic, the most beautiful of all vampires. They still longed for each other and they saw each other secretly for months. It came apparent to the two lovers that if they got caught Baal would be killed and also they realised that eventually, Baal would die (as he is mortal), leaving Deathmajic alone for eternity. He told her to bite him so that he could transform into a vampire also. She did this and they promised to hunt for human blood together for eternity.
As soon as Lord Baal became a vampire, the land around that area was hit by a huge blizzard, burying the town in a foot of snow, it was then battered by avalanches and snow storms until nothing was left. Many people died; the lucky ones. The rest were enslaved by Lord Baal and his bride and many were used as a fresh blood supply. This was a dark time for the Shipping Ruin which gave Lord Baal the title 'Baal the Dark' and many folk dare utter his true name and choose only to refer to him as 'The Ice Lord' as he caused the nation to become the icey plain it is now.
The Shipping Ruin became the Icey Plains of Fernoz, overlooked by the mighty Baal Bastion, the home of King Baal and his bride.
Baal is a tall and slender character with long white hair and icey blue eyes which reflect a cold heart deep in the centre of his tattered garments which can only warmed by the sight of his bride, Deathmajic.
His eyes give Baal a cold, hard stare which freeze armies in their tracks. legends say that with these eyes Baal can stare deep into a mortal's soul, revealing their inner-most thoughts and fears...
Unlike his wife, who is swift on the kill, Baal tends to drag out the slaying of his victims, tending to cut them slightly and letting them run, pursuing and hunting them down minutes later for the pure fun of the hunt. He always saves blood for his wife and they drink human blood together under the moon's twilight.
