As a mortal Talen was never one to involve herself with the affairs of others, preferring to be the one who kept herself to herself and not trying to become the centre of attention. She was the same when she was turned, no-one could really convince her otherwise and they could see she preferred to remain the observer.
Talen dresses inconspicuously, sometimes mimicking the darkness she loves, and even her demeanour reflects this curious character trait in that even in feeding, she doesn't beat around the bush, there are no mindgames, she will feed and then go back to wandering the night, stalking the shadows and looking to the stars which inspire her and seem to her the ultimate form of beauty.
Her victims because of that see more of her face than others do of other vampires, but still they and even those other vampires see nothing but the shadow-masked skin of her lips and her jaw before she strikes them down, so until this day no-one knows truly what the face of Death looks like.
Her clothes are the same colour as the night-time she loves so dearly, she wears a baroque dress with a deep blood-red corset, lined with black lace and flowing, sometimes clinging skirt, whose colour shifts with the moonlight so one can never tell if it is purple, black, blue or even crimson.
