Amethena Brightwell is the mother of Dracconis NightsBane, his father is Drakkon NightsBane. Amethena and Drakkon met when she was a Master Sorceress in the Vampire Soldiers. The night they met, they wrestled and challenged each other mentally, physically, and emotionally. Amethena fell in love instantly. She knew in her heart her love for Drakkon would never die. Many months went by. They courted and enjoyed one another's presence but she never knew he was Lord until long after they were engaged. When Amethena found out, she tried to leave and not see Drakkon. She was nervous about being a Lady for even though she was soft and kind, she never saw herself as being worthy of such a title. Drakkon wouldn't hear of it. He proclaimed his love for Amethena and they wed. Many months later, Amethena conceived Dracconis. She feared Drakkon to forsake him and ran. She didn't tell her sister of her being with child and got a divorce. Missing Drakkon, some time later, she went to him and begged his forgiveness. His love for Amethena gave him heart to forgive her readily. She told him of the unborn and Drakkon stood proud, taking Amethena's hand once more in marriage.

Drakkon took leave and Amethena was left to care for Darkmoon alone. She was happy though as she took pride in knowing she was carrying an heir to the throne, an heir that would have the pride and honor of his father. A friend by the name Avatar came and visited with Amethena often. Little did Amethena know, he had an enemy that would scar her son's left shoulderblade for life and begin the process of turning her heart to stone. Avatar's enemy came into the pub. He attacked Amethena and she fought with all her power. His magic equalled hers and the battle was a long one. He ended the battle when he stabbed Amethena in the back with a poisoned dagger, sending it into the shoulderblade of her unborn son.

Avatar came quickly to Amethena's aid as well as Cheetara, the apprentice Amethena took pride in. She quickly healed Amethena but wasn't strong enough for the poison that Avatar's enemy sent into her son. Avatar opened his chest and healed Dracconis from inside Amethena's womb but made a bond with Dracconis. After the healing, Avatar told Amethena what he did and told her that in effect, Dracconis was his now. Angered and out raged, she beat Avatar.

She gave him a choice, to remove the bond or he would meet his death for he was the son of Drakkon and none other. Avatar took back the bond he placed between Dracconis and himself, thus giving himself a death sentence. He died within hours but Dracconis lived on.

Dracconis was delivered in the Mystic Pub. The scar on his shoulderblade, left a coldness in Amethena's heart for she'd always be reminded of the pain others give unjustly. Drakkon during this time would travel for long journeys. Amethena yearned for something more. She was granted a divorce and left. Dracconis was left with her sister AngelEyes until after Amethena settled in Cain. She then travelled back and took her son with her.

Amethena's husband, Koth Daemon, gave to Dracconis a cloak that was made of the Daemon family to protect him always. Koth took pride in Dracconis and worked with him daily, trying hard to teach him the ways of the Daemon. He tried to treat Dracconis as his own. This angered Drakkon and since then Koth and Drakkon has hated one another since. Dracconis vanished shortly after Koth killed Amethena. None knew where he had gone.

Years later, he appeared in Mystic Pub. Amethena was dead and yet, when Dracconis needed his mother, she went to him in spirit. She gave him staff of magic and told him to use it wisely. He practiced daily, trying his best to make his magic strong. Amethena's spirit watched over him. Dracconis grew up confused, he felt betrayed by his mother for her death was something he never understood. When he became a teenager, Amethena was granted her life back. She hastily returned but Dracconis looked upon her as a stranger. After Ame's death he knew only of his father's guidance. His father spent as much time with him as he could, teaching him to be proper and to tried to teach him what being a Lord was about. Dracconis was more interested in the ladies and couldn't bring himself to do much more than greet his father with the dignity of a Prince. Years went by, Amethena travelled much when she came back and Drakkon did as well. Dracconis did his best and stayed near the Vampire Soldiers as they were also family. However, when he truly needed his family, Amethena would rush to his side and stand next to her son. Drakkon would soon do the same. Now much time has passed and Drakkon has moved on and passed Lordship over to his son Dracconis , soon after being handed Lordship of Darkmoon , Dracconis Has been married 3 times and with His Second Wife VioletAngel brough forth a child by the name of Valliant . Valliant NightsBane, Prince of Darkmoon. Soon after that , Dracconis married Balandria, some years down the road a battle was brewing within the BloodLine over the Rights to Darkmoon. After a long fight between Dracconis and His Son for the OwnerShip of Darkmoon, Dracconis once again held King. Several years after that Dracconis went forth on a long voyage and handed rights of Darkmoon over to His Son, and Dracconis fell into the shadowy void " sleeping". Untill a massive War was on Path and Dracconis was once more called to His true Home, He was called back to retake the throne and rule over the Lands.
