At seventeen Edeline Dimitri was an orphan. Her parents were slaughtered, leaving the girl displaced and unwanted. Seaking refuge in a local tavern she heard mention of monks gathered high in the mountains that lead a secretive, but Utopian life. When she arrived to the place the faithful monk DanAngelus was deemed her caretaker, and instantly he and she shared a close bond. He was not much older than herself, but she always respected his knowledge and kindness.
It was warm on the night of her eighteenth birthday. She had walked the meditation path, and was know sitting, in quiet awe of the beautiful starry sky shimmering overhead, when he came to her. His robes billowed silently, and she could just barely make out the silhouette of his face. "Edeline..." he whispered moving close to sit with her on the stone bench overlooking the most cherished mountain ridge. "I have a gift for you." His hand moved to cup her cheek, and Edeline sighed into his embrace. He had given her the choice... And she would have it no other way still.
A quiet girl, Edeline preferred the comforts of a solitary life. As a vampiress, these old habits still ring true. Choosing to consort only with her eternal brotherhood, her focus is on them. When betrayed she finds cool-headed, unemotional plots charting the target's eminent death and demise to be the most enjoyable way to render her enemies defenseless. She is fragile, elegant, brutal, and brooding, patient and unforgiving.
Always remember, she has found her home... and she loves her family.
