The creature wrapped its arms around its knees. It gripped its legs rocking back and forth. She looked up at the night sky, eyes wide, searching for answers. Of course none were there, the sky held nothing. Just a pretty surface, like herself. Putrid bile in the inside, but a deadly flower upon the exterior. Longing for her once happy home, now in ruins, she was a doomed being. Never to return to what was light. Her life had flipped uncontrollably. The urge of hunger emerged upon the surface as though a beast inside ripped through her torso. It thrashed the flesh, blood, and bone, and would never leave her, ever. Her name, the name she had ever known was whispered in her ear through the swiftly climbing winds. Caperone.
