It started as a night like most others,the stars shown brightly in the midnight sky,a calm breeze, the faint song of crickets and gentle trickling of the stream.
If only i'd known how set apart that night was from any other id seen in my life.. life;how funny it is, that word is used so lightly without much thought.
I sat in the cool grass that night, gazing at the stars, wishing for company,wondering if i would ever find another to share a night as beautiful as this with.
A moment after this thought lazily went though my mind, as it had so many times before; a fog suddenly started to appear and the wind picked up with great intencity, blowing my dark hair across my pale face, and ripping at my dark burgandy dress.
I began to hear a rustling of leaves and a sweet smell... one that i would come to realize as a comfort.. blood.
Then,in the fog, suddenly stood a mysterious man..if thats what youd call him; he walked with a grace unlike any id seen before,he had a handsome face,but a roughness about him that said he'd had hard times, as he got closer i looked into his eyes, he had a dangerous look in them, he leaped and with one simple move, i was on the ground and he ontop of me,his mouth moving quickly to my throat, he bit down with teeth sharp as razors, i was terrified. when he was finished, i lay on the ground,pale,cold and shaking. He again looked into my green eyes, the dangerous look now softened and looked back almost lovingly... he bent and wispered in my ear "come with me, and life shall be restored to you ,be forever bound to me and i will show you how to live"... and with that i gave a nod, and everything went dark..when i awoke.. i was as i am now. there is no name for this ...being... but one. a vampire.
