Vampire Quicksilver Strand

Character description
I met him in a club a few months ago. We talked until morning, or almost anyway. When he glanced outside and saw the sky was lightening, he quickly excused himself, something about having to feed his cats I think. He told me his name was Shadar Faile, and we agreed to meet the next night though. Meet we did.
Several weeks went by, and in that short length of time we started becoming more than just friends. More than best friends.
Then Shadar told me.
WHY did he have to do that? Why couldn't he have just left things the way they were? I would wonder that later, but at the time I was in shock.
He was a vampire.
Oh yes, I had my laugh, asked to see his fangs and the usual sort of reaction that would have come from such an announcement. He showed me his fangs. He showed me his increased strength and agility. After that.... I just sort of disappeared from Shadar's life, and he from mine.
For a time. For several months. It took that long to get over whatever it was I had felt when he told me. Fear, shock, or something else, eventually it faded to longing.
Awhile later I went back to the club where we'd met and started asking around for him. Apparently the club was one Shadar usually visited when he was in town. It didn't take that long for Shadar to show up again, and a few nights later when I was walking home from the club, there he was.
I think I nearly woke up everyone in the neighborhood when I screamed as he appeared behind me.
Nice way to reunite; I still think I've got a grey hair from that incident.
Once my heart stopped pounding I asked for him to sire me, because I didn't want to spend so much time away from him again, and death would certainly have lead to seperation.
Poor guy, he was pretty surprised and maybe a little reluctant to sire me, but he made sure I knew I had to leave absolutely everything behind. Then he bit me, and that was that.

He handed me a ring with a little falcon engraved on the surface, and told me to th ink on it Think on it I did, but it didn't take long before I was ready to wear the ring for Shadar Faile.
