Character description
Azrael Mortis long life began in the year 1606 .He was Born the son of a publican his father owned the local Inn .He grew up working and living in the pub it was a strange childhood and education he learned interesting and odd things from the travelers,soliders and other strange people who passed through .At the age of 15 his father was aproched by a local Monkhood who wished to take Azrael into their monestery as pupil .He was not to become a monk but a priests gaurd he would be tought the ways of the sword and instructed in languages such as latin and french and he was also to be tought basic science .Azrael spent the following 3 years living and training with the monks it was during this time they granted them their knowlage their seceret knowlage about the darker side of life Of unearthly creatures such as vampires, werebeats ,Necromancers amongst other things The preist charged Azrael with the task of being a warrior priest a slayer for the order aceppting this great task changed his life forever .For a few years later not shortly after his 21 birthday which he was celebrating in a inn far from home he was following up on a succesful hunt he had slain a vampire whom had taken up residence in coach house and was slaughtering unwary travelers ,But he had one lose end the vampire had a mate a female vampiress escaped from the coach house and he had been tailing her for the past 3 days ,He now knew her current wareabout thanks to the talktive pub owner ,who told him he had rented out the top back room of his house to a supsious looking women a night ago .Tonight Azrael would finish this hunt and return home or so he thought all didnt go acording to plan that night ,having never encountered a vampiress he handnt been prepared for her powers of hypnoises their scrap was short and in punishment for his wrecklessness she didnt kill him she thought of a more fitting punishment she sired him . Azrael soon turned to dispear and too the last name Mortis meaning death it took him a long time to accept what had happend but now he had to live on he had to continue this Imortaily that had been given to him and so he does unto this presant day.
