Werewolf Silent Wise One
Character description
Alone in the woods I sat, tending to my fire. It was the eighth hour I had spent there. In deep recollection I sat, pondering what I have done, but more importantly what I will do. A future is only as strong as the foundation it is built upon. Examining my faults and hopes, I try to make my future built upon a rock-solid foundation.
While I was sitting at my fire, I heard a noise. He Who Sings with a Loud Voice, stumbled forward, lurching onto my site. I ran quickly to his aid. He told me his story. He was bitten by a vampire. I had known He Who Sings with a Loud Voice for years now, and this was a common tradition we kept. I couldn't believe these creatures walked the earth. Just at that very moment as he died in my arms, I heard the distinct cracking of twigs and brush. I turned to see a shadow-like figure in my field of vision. I could not make out his face, but I knew he was no mere mortal. He introduced himself as Wolffire, nothing more was given to me about his identity. Not quite sure of what I was doing here in the middle of the woods, keeping vigil over a roaring fire, clutching the body of my dead friend, Wolffire watched and waited. He turned to me and asked me if I wanted revenge upon those who did this to my friend.
Before I could answer him, I felt the cold dark stab of teeth mashing my warm flesh. I was instantly changed. A sensation came over me, I was no longer who I thought I was. I was not concerned with what was my past, only my future. In that future, all I saw was a ravaging episode of slaying vampires, bringing down the cruel bastards who killed my only friend. It was ironic that I was indeed bitten by a lycan, the enemy of he who killed my friend. Fate was twisting to allow me to avenge his untimely end. Today, Wolffire and I, we roam the earth striving to wipe out the vampires that pollute the planet.
I will not rest until those who betrayed the human race lie in a pile of ash at my feet. I shall seek this, the path less traveled, and hope to spend the many days I have left completing this quest, this Vendetta.
