Orphaned son of an Estate Master, little Haylon had been hidden well by his mother when she covered him with her blood as to throw off the attackers, the attackers had been werewolves. They had destroyed his home, his little life was torn apart, his father was killed, the servants of the estate were killed, and his mother died soon after trying to hide him. When the sun set, hours after the werewolves grew bored and left, little Haylon escaped the decimated, burning estate. While wandering through a field, some ways from his home, he came upon the Dark Mistress Cyanntria. Unknowing as to who or what she was, he collapsed into her arms, shivering, and crying about his lost family, and being all alone now. The Dark Mistress took him under her wing and raised him as her own child that day. He grew into a very handsome angel like teenager, his beauty far surpassing that of most men. Then the day came while the sun was high in the sky a stranger stopped by searching for The Dark Mistress, having confirmed this to be her home he then transformed into a raging werewolf, and was determined to raid and destroy the Mistress's crypt and drag her into the light. Haylon was well versed in combat as most men in his time were; because of his love and fierce devotion to his "mother" he fought with all his might and will. For hours the violent battle raged, all the while his memories of the night his family died, that he had long ago forgotten, begin to come flooding into his mind. Now empowered by new rage and hatred, he continued the battle. But with all his skill and power he was still only human. As the sun started to set he dealt a sever wound to his enemy, dropping his guard for a split second. That was all it took for the were wolf to run his sword through Haylon's chest, just missing his heart but totally destroying his ribs and lungs. The sun had just set; and Mistress Cyanntria had risen knowing the intensity of the battle instantly. She sprang forth and slew the wretched werewolf within seconds, before he even realized the sun had fallen. Taking Haylon in her arms she began to weep. Sorry I failed you, I tried my best." He said as she continued to weep. Opening her eyes briefly only to respond to him, she said No you were victorious my darling boy, you did more than you should have, just rest she then placed a small kiss on his forehead you will be ok, my sweet beautiful boy." Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked up at her and said “No it is to late for me and you know it." He smiled weakly up at her, adding in a whisper I now know what happened to my family, why did you never tell me? I wish I had the time, I wish I could exact revenge on those nasty flea bitten mutts.This made the Dark Mistress weep even more, as she held him, bleeding in her arms. Haylon coughed, and then with his last breath he softly said “You can save me, you can allow me that revenge, turn me into what you are, please become my true beloved mother, and make me your true child. Then Haylon fell silent breathing shallowly. The Dark Mistress screamed in rage, then in torment. She had vowed to herself all those years ago that she would never tell Haylon what had happened when she found him, and that she would never for any reason turn him into a vampire. Holding his body, feeling the life fade from him, knowing he fought to what was sure to be his death for her, she held him tightly to her, and when she could take no more anguish, she bit him then let her blood flow into his. Years later when Mistress Cyanntria turned her beloved Ravensflight, he took to her as a second mother. The two of them raised him as if he was their own. They loved, cared for, and protected him, until he became a man, thus becoming Dark Master Haylon. Now even decades later, he hunts with them, and has his family through them, and those they make. Still exacting his revenge every chance he gets. on the wolves with both his mothers by his side.
