A crowded bar, smoky air, slip-slide of people dancing to the thrum-thrum-thrum of the music. The DJ's spinning it, working his ass off; this might well be the best show he's ever done, ain't never gonna be one quite like it. You're trapped at the bar, turning your beer bottle in your hands, thumbing at the label, when she slides into the seat next to you.
Pretty girl, you think, and yeah, maybe she is. A redhead with green eyes, all leather corset and short skirt, moving to the beat even while seated. Her fingernails are long, coated in chipped rose-red varnish, same colour as her lipstick. She turns her head, smiles at you, turns back to the bartender.
"I'll have a Smirnoff," she says loudly, and he nods, heads into the dark smoky recesses of the mysterious area known alternatively as either 'behind the bar' or 'the place where the bar guys keep the lovely shiny alcohol'. She braces her elbows on the bar counter, raises herself up slightly to follow his movements. You take a sip from your beer, see her gaze slide sideways. She's wearing green eyeshadow. "Hey," she says, and smiles.
"Hey," you reply, wary. She grins, teeth white in the flash-lighting.
"Nice party, right?" she says, and you indicate with a shrug that this might be so. She glances at you, amused, and holds out her hand. "My name's Kisha," she says, and you shake it gently and reciprocate.
The bartender puts her bottle in front of her with a heavy clink and she gives him a thumbs-up, bends over and pulls a crumpled bill out of one of her knee-length boots. "Here, keep the change," she says, handing it over to him, and he tilts his head and growls. You blink, sure you heard wrong, and look closer, seeing fangs where there should be canines.
"What the heck?" you say, and she sighs, swings her legs off the bar stool.
"Stay back," she warns, and goes into a crouch. Her skin seems ashen, grey in the flickering lights, and then it ripples suddenly into fur. Her clothes rip loudly and peel off her, and any other time maybe you'd appreciate the view, but right now? No. You push yourself away from her violently as she raises her head from the shield of her arms, lupine, sharp teeth and wrinkled muzzle, and the bartender lets out a hiss, lunges over the top of the bar at her.
You know the word for her kind. You've heard about them, read about them, seen them on the big screen. Werewolf. It doesn't do justice to the real thing, seven feet tall with teeth and claws glinting wicked in the light.
As you watch the bartender-vampire circle her, tiny to her huge form, you can't help but wonder how many of the stories are true.

If I am attacking you repeatedly, it is because I get a large amount of gold off you with each hit. You should plow your gold into training your stats, upgrading your hideout, or buying spare weapons or armour to sell on later - don't sit around with large amounts of gold. If you must, do a 'safety' fight every hour (attack someone ten levels below you) so that nobody else can attack you.
You can always send me an in-game PM and ask me to knock it off. Just be polite. Being rude and abusive will get you dogpiled by my clan and also reported to the admins, which could lead to your account being suspended. :)
