It was a dark drizzly night that I was walking home. Over my head I held a newspaper with the sports section held up to the rain. I pulled my dark blonde hair over my shoulder and I selected a streak of black and i twirled it in my hand. As got to my door I dropped my bag accidently "Oh no" I mutter to myself as I fumble around in the dark for my keys. I knew my boyfriend would be there but the door was locked.
I found my keys and I opened the door, and i saw a bat hanging from my room and as soon as it saw me. I dropped down. Shapeshifting back into a man. It happened to be my boyfriend and I asked "Is this really you?" He nodded and he stepped forward "I want you to be my queen, join me as a vampire and we can be forever together"
I thought hard about that "You have to bite me don't you?" I ask as i had made up my mind. Again he nodded and I closed my eyes "I will join you"
Next thing I saw was his shadowy human figure lay over my as he turned me onto my back. I smile and I ask "Can I change into a bat now?" He smiled and helped me up and he smoothed my hair down "Try. Concentrate, and try"
He shapeshifted and flew around me. I closed my eyes and thought "Come on, i can do this, if he can I can" I open my eyes again and I am a bat in his bat hold. In the bat language he says to me "You did it, just remember to flap your wings when you fly"
Ever since that day, I have been a vampire, Queen of his clan, and he is my king. I do not regret it and I also find human blood more filling than meat. When I sit apon my throne I flick forward my blonde hair, with the black and dark brown streaks and I stand with him, only 5"8, ut tall enough to see over some vampires heads. I remember my old life. But this one is better. I have my own life in my own hands. Not that I really need it there.
Now we are leading our clan into the war between Werewolves and Vampires. We have the upper hand, we have the opportunity!
