She was so innocent. When she lived, those many years ago, Gwenevere was a lighthearted girl. Gwen had pink, warm cheeks with wavy chestnut hair and contagious laughter. She enjoyed her life and simple pleasures like afternoon walks and singing with her head thrown back to the blue sky.
This is not the story of that girl. Instead it's the tale of that which she became. The creature that was Gwenevere is now cold and smooth as glass. She is sharp and fast and always ready for the next twilight. Ever vigilant, Gwenevere has learned that this dark dangerous world is full of monsters, and that she is one of them.
She knows the way to thrive here. Eat or be eaten. Her new existence is far from what she was and the force of her cunning will give pause to the predators who think she is an easy kill.
