Call me John. I am dead. You probably noticed that if you are intelligent. Something which most people are not. Anyway, my story... is quite a long one. I was one of the most brilliant minds of the 15th Century. I studied the history and mythology of the European peoples, and I did know my Bible. Little did I know, though, that one of my biggest sources for information would be my demise. I didn't really know his name. Our conversation were always held at night, and he insisted on being called Equilaterum. I mockingly called him Lord Triangle, but this behaviour raised my suspicions and I never told him my real name either, monikering myself as a mythological animal in Portuguese fairy tales. One cold January night, Equilaterum spoke to me, and said I was ready. I had apparently learnt enough of his own lore to be able to take care of myself. I, of course, had not the slightest of ideas on what he meant. I remember telling him to stop being ridiculous, and then being dead. I mean, not quite dead. When I awoke, Equilaterum was gone, and I instinctively knew what had happened. Since then I quench my thirst in those to whom I once belonged. And there is no turning back...
