Character description
Armand was born to a Spanish merchant, in 1427. By 1453, at the age of 26, he had developed a taste for alcohol, women and sloth. Though not an evil man, Armand was a hedonist whose only real ambition lay in seeing the world. For the lazy Spaniard that seemed a laughable dream, especially after he was expelled from his father's household, but he had caught the eye of an affluent woman a vampire elder named Erika. She lured him into an alley, and, promising him a world full of excitement and travel, transformed him into a vampire.
The loss of his soul combined with his new demonic nature meant Liam no longer possessed any restraint over his darker impulses. On the night he rose from his grave, and in response to Erika's claim that he could have anyone in the village, he set about slaughtering the entire community. When he came to slaughter his own family, he found no problem in entering, his little sister inviting him in without hesitation or suspicion. Before killing his father, he would tell him mockingly, "My sister thought that I'd returned to her. She was wrong. She was wrong."
After cutting a bloody swath across Europe and Southern England, Erika brought her new consort back London, but Armand had no interest in anything other than living a decadent life of pleasure and sadism with Erika by his side. Over time, Erika and Armand would make their way throughout Europe and North Africa, occasionally sparring with each other.
In 1760, Erika saw Selene and showed her to Armand. Erika knew about Selene's psychic abilities and believed it would be in their best interests to turn her into a vampire. Armand, however, sensed her purity and became obsessed with destroying her, as Selene had the potential for sainthood. Armand harassed her for a long time, damaging Selene's fragile mental health. Armand killed and tortured her entire family, causing her to leave for a convent. On the day she was to take her holy vows, Armand made her watch as he killed every person in the convent, engaged in sexual relations with Erika, and raped her. The trauma of Armand's atrocities drove her insane, for which he chose to turn her into a vampire, as he considered her a masterpiece, a testament of his talent. After sired, Selene, now a childlike sexual predator, joined Armand and Erika on their murderous travels, until both Erika, and Selene were killed by lycans in 1771. After which Armand vowed that he would hunt down the lycan that killed them and never stop until he had his vengeance.
