There was an old wives tale of a hidden village deep within the confounds of the Dark Forest, the very same forest you are in now. This land was once ruled by the Lord Makai, who mysteriously disappeared without a trace, and his lands grew into the thick forest that you walk into now. As you walk into the forest, a thick crimson fog began to surround you until you could no longer see the road behind you. Unable to turn back, you walk deeper as the fog grew bigger. Finally a castle stood tall in the distance. Black ominous clouds surrounded the towers and peaks of the old castle as the same dark crimson fog spread throughout the village that was seen in the distance. As you enter the village, you notice that the sky was illuminated by stars instead of the sun, a few moments ago.

Suddenly a figure came before you, carrying a Victorian style lantern in its hand. Though you could not see its face, you had an eerie feeling that you knew that it was this way. As it approached you, it spoke."Welcome home, weve been expecting you."
