The vorikai are a special rare breed of vampire that prefer the blood of demons and other supernatural creatures to that of ordinary humans and animals. In order to hunt these more dangerous the vorikai must be stronger, smarter and more skilled than the ordinary vampire and they are conditioned to be so.
